After completing studies at ENSAAMA Olivier de Serre and the Paris Decorative Arts, Alice Gavalet worked as an independent designer for major luxury brands. 

She is now developing personal pieces. She likes obsolete objects such as those mentioned by her favorite poet Francis Ponge in "The Voice of Things". "Ceramic is always a dangerous material to work and even more to cut and paste".
